Cape Horn in Crucero Australis

We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to arrive at Cape Horn National Park where we will disembark if weather conditions permit. The mythical Cape Horn was discovered in 1616 and is an almost vertical promontory 425 meters high. For years it was an important navigation route for sailing ships between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It is known as the end of the world. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005.
