COYHAIQUE: SALTOS DEL RIO IBAÑEZ (PRIVATE)

We will pick you up at your accommodation to start this trip on the Carretera Austral Sur to Puerto Ibáñez, a place located on the north shore of Lake General Carrera, about 116 km from Coyhaique. On the way to the Saltos del Río Ibáñez tour you will make several stops to get to know the area, such as the Chiguay lagoon, the Cerro Castillo viewpoint, the Morales lagoon and the Puerto Ibáñez viewpoint. From this last place you will take a 6 km detour to the waterfalls. There, you will make a tour through some places with waterfalls, along the river, until you reach the viewpoint of Salto del Río Ibáñez. After resting for a while and taking pictures, you will start the return to Coyhaique, where the activity ends.
