Description
Departure from Coyhaique to the Carretera Austral Norte, specifically Queulat Park and its main attraction, El Ventisquero Colagante. On the way, inside the park, we will walk part of the trails of the Enchanted Forest and we will go into the evergreen forest to appreciate the Padre Garcia waterfall. By mid-afternoon, we will arrive at the Puyuhuapi Fjord, one of the branches of the Pacific Ocean that penetrates the Patagonian Andes, where the Hanging Glacier will gradually show its face. Here, we will enter the path of the lagoon, to appreciate even closer the unique physiognomy of this impressive glacier. Then, we will continue our journey to the town of Puerto Puyuhuapi, a beautiful small port village, with colorful wooden houses and colorful gardens, faithful testimonies of the history of German colonization. At sunset, we will return to Coyhaique.
