RIO DE JANEIRO: JEEP RIDE THROUGH THE BOTANICAL GARDEN

Description
The tour begins with the pick up of the passengers at the hotels, who will visit the Botanical Garden. Created in 1817 by King D. João IV destined to the culture of exotic plants form expresso worldwide, is a unique park for its variety of species. Among them, you will find the Imperial Palms, huge water lilies (Victoria water lilies) and some Red Wood trees (Pau Brazil) almost extinct in the Atlantic Forest. Also, in its famous greenhouse, there are more than 500 types of orchids.
Next, you will visit the Tijuca rainforest in an open jeep where the contrast between the stone jungle and a tropical forest in the middle of a big city is evident. The jeep will take you to the Cachoeira dos Macacos macaques before arriving at Vista Chinesa.
At Vista Chinesa you will have time to take pictures. You will learn about the history of the reforestation process of the forest and the importance of the Atlantic Forest and you will also pass by the Imperador Table, Cascatinha (Taunay Waterfall), and the Mayrink Chapel.
Afterwards, you will enjoy a 20-30 minute walk along an easy trail, where botanical life thrives and flourishes. Passengers will have the opportunity to have direct contact with nature and the local ecosystem. After the tour, return to the hotel.
