PUCON: ASCENSION A VOLCAN QUETRUPILLAN (SIB)

We meet at 06:00 am in our office at Lincoyán 243, to begin the journey to the Paraíso Escondido sector at 07:00 am and start the trekking one hour later. At 08:00 am our guides will give the departure to start walking for two and a half hours, in the immense forest of native trees, where you will see Coigües, Ñirres, Lengas, Tepas and Raulíes, accompanied the way birds like the Carpintero, Chucao, Fio Fio and if it is the lucky day, you will see some Culpeo foxes. Once out of this impressive forest, you will begin the ascent to the glacier in the crater of the volcano, to reach the summit at about 13:30 hours, where there will be time to eat, drink liquid, rest and photograph this beautiful place. On the way back, we will pass through the forest again, to be at the starting point in Paraíso Escondido between 17:00 and return to Pucón around 18:00.

Recommendations:clothing according to weather conditions, trekking pants or first layer, T-shirt, fleece or jacket, waterproof jacket, sunglasses, sun block; lunch (water, fruit, sandwiches).
