Description
On this trip to the east of the city of La Serena. With Full Day Elqui Valley we will visit the different tourist attractions of the valley, among which are the Puclaro Dam, where we will learn about the history of the Gualliguaica people. Then, we will visit a papaya store, where we will learn about the process of cultivation and production until we see the final product.
Afterwards, we will visit Vicuña, birthplace of Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral. Here we will have time to walk around the square and see the local handicrafts. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Pisco Elqui, a town where we will walk around the square, see the church of Our Lady of the Rosary and see handicrafts. Afterwards, we will visit an artisanal pisquera to learn about the production process of this liquor. At some point during our tour, we will have lunch, after which we will return to La Serena to finish the tour.
